METHODIST CONFERENCE.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 23. The Methodist conference stationing committee was at work all the afternoon, and will bring up the first reading of stations to-morrow. The numbeer of members in the colonv in September 1905, was—Auckland district, 5310; Wanganui, 1908; Wellington, 2185; Nelson, 1056; Canterbury, 3753; Otago, 2197; Maori 1314; total European 14,409 (or 485 increase). The Maori members show a decrease of 41.-To-night the members were entertained at a musical festival given by the united choirs.
