This was an oft morning, and the work done was chiefly on theplough, and was ■of a serviceable character. Amongst those which put in'steady work were—Lovelink, Vexation, Boomerang, Jewellery, .Lady Annie, Dear Dolly, and Tauturu, "while Armistice, Sweet Simon, Carrissima; Kuroki, and Dnil were restricted to slow ,work. St. Lyra and -• Cassiopiea were given a round over the hurdles, both shaping well, particularly the latter, who jumped capitally. St. Lyra continued on another round herself ' Paritutu, who arrived last night, was restricted to trotting three rounds. The Castor gelding bears the appearance of being in capital nick.
