P«r Presa Association. AUCKLAND, February 21. At the Education Board this morning it was decided to appoint to the headmastership of the Normal School, Mr H. G. Cousins, M.A. FEILDING. Februarv 21. At the S.M. Court, before Mv A. N. Thompson, W. T. Hook, licensee of the Denbigh Hotel, was fined 40s and costs £2 18s 6d for permitting drunkenness on his premises. The defence was that the man received no drink in the hotel, f The Bench ruled that the fact of the man being found drunk on the premises was sufficient to convict.
