NEW YORK, February 18,
Miss Alice Roosevelt - was married to Mr Longworth to-day. 950 guests being present, including General Grant's daughter. The ceremony was performed in a room in the White House. The bride received 1000 presents, including gifts from the Mikado, f the Empress of China, and His Holiness the Pope.' There was immense popular enthusiasm in America. Excursion trains brought 15,000 persons to Washington ; to watch the bride's departure.
