Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 1. The New Zealand Championship Lawn Tennis Tournament was continued' to-day. The weather was very unpleasant, a bard northerly gale sweeping across the courts all day. In the semi-final of the niea's champion-' ship singles, Dickie beat Swanston, •' said Parker Wat Laishley. - - In the final, Parker beat Dickie. 6-1, 6-0, 6-2 ■ TLe Ladies' Championship Singles was won by Miss Ntmneley, who teat Miss Powdrell 6-3, 6-2. The final for the combined championship doubles will be played off to-morrow, by Parker and Miss Ntmneley aaid Swanston and Miss Powdrell. The men's handicap singles, first grade, was won by Quill, and the second grade by Garlick. The men's handicap doubles feH to Dicktte and Wallace.
