Silver, 2s 2Jd per oz. - The Bank of Australasia balance sheet shows deposits, £15,186,000; cash securities, £5 t 898,000; bills, £14,368,000. Received 9.25 p.m., March 23rd. MELBOURNE, March 23. The tallow market is slightly irregular, and shipping business is quiet For hides the demand is brisk; prices are unchanged.
