SUNDAY CONCERTS.
To the Editor of the "Timaru Herald." Sir/ —A suggestion re Sunday open air concerts—Let the ministers of the different churches in Timaru join with the bands in holding Divine' services in one or other of the band rotundas on Sunday afternoons, the bands to render sacred' music and • the intervals between the pieces to be employed by the preachers. The audience might be invited to join in the singing of one or two hymns under the leadership of the band. I would suggest that one or two members of each of the bands be appointed a committee to meet with the ministers to arrange details. I am, etc., HARMONY.
