ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 21. A boy named Willie dotty fell into the Oparua river at Kawhia, a few yards from his parents' house, and was drowned. The body was subsequently recovered. CHRISTCHURCH, February 21. Mrs Wallace, wife of a very old settler in the Leithfield district, was killed tonight by being thrown out of a trap through the horse bolting.
