ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
Per- Press Association. WAXGANUI, January 22. Mr R. "W. Green, a well-known turner, met with a painful accident on Thursday, his right forearm being b"dly broken owing to being caught in the belting of one of his machines. CHRISTCHURCH, January 24. George Baker, aged 27 years, was driving seven horses harnessed to a waggon loaded with timber up Black's cutting, Waiau, when the waggon capsized and Baker was killed.
