THE NEW HEBRIDES. MELBOURNE, January 24. In reference to M. Delcasse's cabled statement, as made in the French Chamber, Mr Barton says that it is not intended to make further representations about the' New Hebrides to the Imperial Government at present. He added that he had recently received a cablegram that negotiations were proceeding between England and Fiance on the matter.
