The Canterbury Farmers' Co-operative .Association (per Mr J. Mundell) report : holding a most successful clearing sale at " Waxtohi yesterday, ' on account of Mr Lewis Price. The live stock, which was submitted first, sold . exceptionally well, and implements and furniture were also well competed for. Three-quarter-bred fat ewes fetched 10s Id; fat half bred "lambs 12s BcL In cattle, cows in. profit sold for £4, £5 12s 6d, to £7 ss; dry cow, £3 - 15s; steers, £3 16s; yearlings, £2 9s ; vealers, 16s.
