Per Press Association. NAPIER, January 22. About 5000.ables were submitted/at the second wool saie of the season to-day. There was a full attendance of local and English buyers. Bidding was animated and prices for all bright clean wools on the fine side were from to -fd better than at last sale, while coarser sorts improved slightly. Halfbred jleece in light condition brought up to 7d, fine crossbred 4£d to coarser sorts in good condition 3£d to 4d, heavier conditioned log stained 2|d to 3-id, lambs wool of good length and condition 3£d, other sorts 2Ad to 3d, pieces 2d to 3d. bellies 2d to 2jfd, and locks Id to 2d.
