At a meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Association to-night, the action of the Alexandra Jockey Club in disqualifying the horse Winchman for life, and the owner, McLelland, for five years, was confirmed. An application from G. Wallace supported by the Tahuna Park Club to have the disqualification removed was not entertained. On the application of the Tahuna Club a fresh license was granted to Pringle, whose term of disqualification had expired. It was decided to ask the Vincent Club for an explanation why they had paid out on Ruby M. in the race won by Erin, when the appeal against the latter was dismissed.
