Sir Josiah Symons, who was recently knighted, will by order of the King be invested with the honour at Melbourne by the Duke of Cornwall. The Government have decided to erect a stand in Auckland on the new Queen street wharf, capable or accommodating 550 people, on the occasion of the Royal visit.
