Via Urindiai December 14th I January 18th, 1899 „ Naples „ 20th | „ 24th „ Leave Tlmnru. I Arrive London. " Via Vancouver Deo. 7th I January 11th, 1899 „ San Francisco „ 21st | „ 25th „ Mails for above services will be announced at Timaru Post Office as connecting steamers offer. The next direct mail for the United Kingdom, etc. (via Monte Video and Teneriffe) leaves Wellington, per Rnahine, on 22nd Dec. ; due m London about 3rd February. Mails for Fiji, per Upolu, close at Auckland on 4th January, 1898. Mails for South Africa will close at Melhourne (per Aberdeen liner Austral* aßian), on 15th inst. J. A. HUTTON, Chief Postmaster.
