In consequence of the discovery of ticks, the Queensland Government have absolutely prohibited the importation of cattle and horses from all the southern portions of Queensland up to the New South Wales border, and westward to the 148th meridian. NEW SOUTH WALES RAILWAYS. The railway receipts for last quarter increased more than £25,000 compared with the corresponding quarter last year. CHARTERS ALTERED. Application for leave to isßue execution against tbe defendant, on the memorial of judgment obtained in New Zealand in the action Bank of New Zealand versus Lloyd, waa diamisaed with coats. Defendant is a resident in thia colony, and the judgment was obtained against him for calls.
