Sydney, April 29. In consequence of the discovery of ticks, the Queensland Government have absolutely prohibited the importation of cattle and horses from all the southern portions of Queensland up to the New South Wales border, and westward to the 148th meridian. NEW SOUTH WALES RAILWAYS. The railway receipts for last quarter increased more than £25,000 compared with the corresponding quarter last year. CHARTERS ALTERED. The charter of the American ahip Martha Fisher, at Newcastle, haa been altered from Chili to a Californian port, and the charter of the John Porter from San Francisco to Honolulu. Received April 29th, 5 30 p.m. BANK OF NEW ZEALAND V. LLOYD. Application for leave to isßue execution against tbe defendant, on the memorial of judgment obtained in New Zealand in the action Bank of New Zealand versus Lloyd, waa diamisaed with coats. Defendant is a resident in thia colony, and the judgment was obtained against him for calls.
