ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
• — -*—+ — — , ; ADAIK. r The annual meeting of householders 1 was held m the schoolroom on Monday. 7 There was a 'small attendance. The ) chairman (Mr McSweeney) of the outJ going committee referred briefly to the - working of the school, which the Jni spector's report showed was satisfactory. The receipts had been £36 15s 5d and ex- | .penditure£32 13s2d, credit, balance £4 P|2s 3d. On the motion of Mr Bhephard, I seconded " by Mr Courtney, a vote oi • thanks was passed to the retiring com- ■ mittee. The following are the new committee :— Messrs M. O'Connor, J. Brown, ', H. Dew, W. O'Brien, W. Shephard, H. ? Sadler and M. McSweeney. At the i meeting of the new committee Mr Mcf Sweeney was elected chairman, and Mr 3 O'Connor, treasurer. It was decided to meet on the last Saturday of each r mouth, to procure fuel and call tenders 1 for the post of caretaker for 12 months. i •■■■■■■■■■■■■■■*
