MEN AND WOMEN.
(By Telegraph.^ WANGANTJI, May 31. At a meeting of the Women's Political League the following resolutions were passed : — " That the marriage laws of the colony be recast or readjusted on the principle of complete equality, and the economic independence of men and women " ; "To alter the law of divorce so as to put husband and wife upon precisely the same footing as J,p the dissolution of the marriage tie."
