THE SNOWSTORM IN THE SOUTH.

«. (By Telegraph.) DUNEDIN, May 30. Information has been received that during the snowstorm on Saturday and Sunday, a man engaged at Tarras station, Vincent County, died of exposure. A man named Oliver was lost m the snow, and was brought into Pembroke m a very low condition. A Times 7 special states that the people of Nevis are snowed up for the winter and have no supplies. The snowstorm was the heaviest ever known m the district.
