PUPIL TEACHERS' EXAMINATION. HOW WAS IT WORKED ?
TO THE EDITOR OF THE TIMARU HERALD. Sin,—l have waited hoping that an abler pen than mine would attack the action of the Tiniaru Main Schools' Committee m appointing a candidate who had not passed the required examination. If I remember rightly they, themselves, made the rule that examination should be the test to decide the suitability of all candidates; yet they have completely ignored it at the first opportunity. If the facts are as stated by "Fairplay" m your columns, how can they justify their action ? Will the Board of Education confirm an injustice? I am, etc., Another Fairplayer.
