The tableaux entertainment m connection with St Alban's Ohuroh at Pleasant Poi»t> wag a great auooess, and reflected much credit on the management and all tbe nioely dretsed living figures. Bongs were euog by Muses Stevenson, Haistead and Smith, and Meßsra Jatikman and Buokridge. Tbe Morris brothers showed their mastery over violin and bow ; Misses Braitn and Morris rendered sweet and appropriate mnsio, while Miss Lambert played from memory one of Padereweki's difficult waltzee, m a manner which showed excellent touch and time. The six tableau of a former entertainment were next shown, a slight alteration m. tbe "Peacemakers " causing much merriment. The following tableaux were then produced, interspersrd with muoio and songs : — " The May Pole Party," a pretty group suitably dressed ; " Ohega Matob," tbe l±dy winning amid iuud calls to " mate 1 ," j " Afternoon Tea," a homely party; '' Guardian Angel," a pretty, touching, lovely iiight (little Cora Orton and Mabel Bay and Mies Smith) ; " The Minuet," a representation of a Spanish dance— & really beautiful fight, the appropriate fans, dresses and attitudes making tbia one of the obief pieoes ; 11 Fortune m a Tea-cup," novel m its repw sentation and truly up to nature ; " Winter's Tale," well staged, and a difficult pieoe shown with nice details j " Queen of tho Summit, Statue, and Gift of God," tbe most difficult pieoe, charmingly grouped end highly appreciated, In the final tableau " Britannia," the whole patty were oentred around Mies Braim and her guards, Messrs 0 Smith and 0 ley. The following persons formed the group :— Misjes Smith (4). Morris, Haistead (2), Lambert (2), Orton (3), Bay <3), Oliver, Thomas and Worthington, and Messrs Acton and Ward. Votes of thanks were aooorded to the performers and the managing com 1 rui'.tee. The attendance was good, and the dudiecce appreciative.
