Sib,—We regret to see m Mr Maloolmson's letter m your issue of to-day the unfair use he makes of tbe statement we signed for him at his request, basing on it as be does a general denial to the worda •• and told him Dr Lovegrove would have done it but he was not at home "—a " deliberate falsehood" — reported to have been used by Mr Solomon m Court on 18th inst. Whereas our statement is merely an admission that tha words quoted do not exactly describe either of the representations made to us individually, by Mr Malcolmson, both of whioh, however, we h^vp reason to believe were false.
