*_ (Bz Tbikob&th.) ; . WELLINGTON, 9bptb«bbb 17. The Hon. Bobert Hart, M.L.0., died yesterday. He was 1)0 years of age and had baen 61 years in Wellington. He had been ailing for sometime, and was not able to_ be pretent in his ptaoe in the Council this session. In his younger days ho was well known as a barrister and solicitor, and for years waa principal member of the firm of Hart and Buokley (now Sir Patriok). In 1854 ho was eleoted member for Wellington in the first Parliament held in Auokland, and in 1872 was oalled to the Upper House- He was one of the oldest Freemasons in the colony.
