A meeting attended by twelve thousand persons at Limerick denounced Mr Gladstone for refuaing to grant an amnesty to political prisoners. Mr William Redmond Baid" that it was really the dynamiters who had caused the Home Rule Bill to be brought m. Mr Davitt suggested that m consequence of the rejection of the Bill by the Houbo oE Lords, the second chamber m the Irish Legislature and all other concessions m the measure .to landlord interests should be eliminated.
