The Government statistic report on the seasons 1801-92 shows a surprising shrinkage m production. The most striking feature ia the decrease of nearly half a million gallons, or 25 per cent, m the produce of the vineyards. London, Sept. 16. Silver, 3s 2£d. (Reoeived 8,10 p.m., Sept. 18th.) Sept. 17. Only £140,000 was deposited m the London Provident Bank which recently suspended payment. The Shaw, Saville and Albion Oompany have declared a dividend of 5 per cent. It is officially announced that the total amount withdrawn during the run on the , Birkbeck bank was £1,500,000 ; that re- i payments into tbe bank amount to £250,000 , and that £4,500,000 worth of \ convertible securities remain intact. {
