There ■ was very unfavourable weather, rom fulling • almost continually. Tho racing, however, was good. The following are tho results : — 1 HtTEDtE Hack ; 2 miles. A protest entered against Sentinel on the . ground of crossing was dismissed. Dividends— £4. 5a and £4 5s 6.1. Maiden Stbeplecitase, 2i miles. Keck or Nothing, list 121 b ... (Daweon) 1 Justice, list 91b (Ryan) 2 Don, list 131 b (Rae) 3 There wero four other starters. Justice led for about a mile and a half, when Neck or Nothing took tho load, and was not afterwards hoaried, winning by about two lengths. Wikieb Welter Handicap ; 1 mile. Ornfci, lOat (Byers) 1 FriscUla, lOsfc 21b (Collins) 2 Ingorina, list 6lb (McMillan) 3 1 Eleven horses started. Takapau, Parnell, Neck or Nothing, S"um Ynm, and Ingorangi running m a group behind him. Parno!! md Omata then made the running until the latter was beaten three quarters of a milo from home, and yiolded second placo to Bit of Blue but the latter could never reach Parnell, who won by ton lengths j Neck or Nothing being about £0 loncths behind Bit of Blue.
