In the case of Tuhoro, the native charged with committing a criminal assault on a Maori girl, which has occupied the Supreme Court for three days, the Jury found tho prisoner not guilty, and he waa discharged The case against Jansen, of burglary at the Colonial Museum, ia to be beard to-morrow.
DUNEDIN, Juke 11
At the Supreme Court to-day, a case was commenced, m which Miss Becsie Hume claims £300"damage3 from the Toieri [and Peninsular -Milk Supply Company. Miss Hume was out driving with some friends, when the horses took fright at some milk cans left by the roadside. Tho cans belonged to defendants. She was thrown or jumped out of the carriage, and her injuries havo incapacitated her from work. The case is □ot concluded.
