DUNEDIN, Juke 11.
The ca>es of alleged dumtnyism at Highlay camo up at the Land Board to-day. Hanger Hngban reporting on the petition, stated that he bad visited the districts and found none of the sections wero personally occupied. Griffen became insolvent sometime ago, and the lease of his land was sold by the official assignee to Robert Lee, who also gets the name of being a dummy though tho ranger could not say whether this was true or not. He recommended that Chrijtina Mcßoe, who is now married ond settled at Mossburn, and Donald Mcßain should be called upon to show cause why their leo.ses should not be forfeited. The board decided that nothing could be done for a month or two iif Lee's case, bub it wns decided to call on Mcßain and Christina McHae to chow cause.
