The incomo was estimated at £40G5, and the expenditure at £3885, showing a balance of £180. Tho senate resolved that tho value of junior scholarships to be offered at future competitions be £40.; that ten junior, and six senior scholarships bo offered for competition for 18S8. It was resolved to hold next meeting m Auckland on the last Wednesday of February ; that members bo reimbursed expenses this year ; that tho chancellor aflix the seal of the Univorsity to tho statutes made this yoar.
