ADDINGTON LIVE STOCK MARKET.
(By Telegraph.) CHRMTOHURCH, Junb 23. There was only a moderate attendance at the Addington Yards to-day ,| Competition witli ono or two exceptions was not very spirited. Tki OATLE. Only a small supply of fat cattle came to hand and the quality all round was somewhat inferior. Prices ranged from £6 15s to £7 6», and a couple of very fine steers fetched £8 7s. Stores were very poorly represented, and only few lines changed hands at nominal prices. BHBEP. There was a good market of fat sheep, but prices were rather lower than last quotations. Superior Crossbreda fetched from 10s to 15s 6d, a very superior line finding a purchaser at the latter price. Medium weights from 7s to 8s 6d, ewes of mixed ages from 6s 6d to 7s 6d, inferior sorts 4s 9d. There was a small entry of stores mostly of fair quality and very satisfactory prices realised in, inoßt instances. PIGS. Thero was a fair entry of pigs and tho quality was very fair all round, and there were several very good lines. Bidding was was not nearly 30 spirited as last week, nnd prices wero considerably lower in most cases, although some very fair iines fetched up to 469.
