Tho New Zealand Loan and Mevcantile Agency Company held their usual weekly wool sales to-day, when an important catalogue of 3150 bales was submitted. 2450 bales were sold. Very satisfactory prices were realised, the bidding being spirited throughout, and for all lots there was good competition. There is no material improvement to report m prices. The best price realised was for greasy wool, 13|d. The catalogue included several leading western districts and the Riverina clips, which fetched lOd and upwards. Scoured wools were m good demand, and sold up to 18fd.
