The Anglican Synod has carried by a majority of all orders a motion that m the opinion of the Synod it is desirable that the title of Archbishop be assigned to the Primate of Australia and Tasmania. This motion was submitted by the Bishop of Tasmania, and generally concurred m. A number of Catholics made their way into the hall, and soon the whole crowd rose.
