Beswick, Esq , coroner fur the district, and six jurymen. Tho body will be ag.iin exhumed this morning, and the jury after they have bean sworn in nt the courthouse, will bo driven to tho cemetery to view it. On their return evidence will bo led. Dr B. B. Hogg, it i3 said, will perform tho^/u-sf ; mortem examination. So far, about a di'Z'Jii witnesses have been subpoenaed, among them being Miss Houston. To the surprise of a very large number of people, tho life-sentence prisoner Thomas Hall arrived from Lyttleton by the express train yesterday, in charge of Gaoler O'Brien, and a warder. There were only a few persons at the station it having been generally understood that Hall was to arrive by tho late train last night. The sudden arrival caused a good deal of excitement and rumrmr, in somoensfs of a startling kind, was soon busy accounting for it. However, at present there is but little in tho rumours, the fact being that as Hall is interested in the inquest he has a right to attend it. We understand that ho will also be represented by counsel. Hill's personal appearance was r.ither wretched-looking, and he has changed for the worse since his last appearance in the court at Timaru. He was dressed in a blue sergo suit, his prison habiliments having been discarded for a time. On arrival ho was promptly placed in a trap, and driven to the gaol, where he is very securely guarded.
