Welcome Stakes, 100 to 20 Toredo and Silvermark. Notwithstanding the near approach cf the Metropolitan meeting and tho arrival of a fair number of visitors, nothing of magnitude has been done in the betting market during the week. Disowned has been firmly maintained at the head of the Cup and Derby betting, and all the money offering about this horse has been taken up. JLr.chiel has hardenned a little, and Nelson, after being knocked about early in the week, has again reached 100 to 15 and finds backers. Ruby and Tasman have been backed for small amounts, and are still in request at 100 to 9 each. Disowned is a firm favourite for the Derby, nnd his stable companions Torrent and Ruby, are next in demand. Hardly a line has been written in connection with the Welcome Stakes, but Silvermark and Toredo have had some enquirers.
