DELIRIUM TREMENS.
• (By Telkorai'ii.) Christchurch, Nov. 3. At the meeting of the Hospital Board to-tlay, a letter was rend from the InBpector of Prisons, stating that the Minister of Justice saw no reason to alter his opinion that delirium tremens cases could lawfully be remanded to hospitals for treatmant, and that, therefore, such cases would not be admitted into tho prisons after March 31st next. The Board decided to communicate with other Hospital Boards in the colony, with the view of concerted action being taken to prevent the hospitals being used for the reception of these cases.
