A GOOD PROSPECT.
(By Teleobaph.) iNVEKCAfiaILL, NOV. 3. A very nice sample of quartz from the Merivale diggings is being shown in town. It was found in a creek, and is thickly crusted with water-worn gold. The gold miner who found it has diiven about 130 feet, and expects to strike the reef 40 feet further iu. The stone la good, solid stuff, unlike the usual iun of Longwood stone.
