DIOCESAN SYNOD.
(By Telegraph.) Christohurch, Nov. 2. The Diocesan Synod closed its session this evening. The Primate m his concluding remarks regretted that there had been a tendency to look too much at financial matters, while the spiritual interests of tho diocese had been rather left out of sight.
