VERDICT OF "■•.■■." : VUL MURDER.' (Bv " I.'^EGRAPH.) OAM ABU, NOV. 1. The in- -st on the remains of the chil' 1 ' 1--1 buried in a garden about a fortnight ago was resumed to-day. Dr Ogston of Dunedin had made a post mortem examination of the child, but owing to the advanced stage of decomposition, ho could not tell from the wounds whether death had occurred before or after their infliction. The jury returned the following verdict: — "That the child was a female child, born of Agnes Sorgensorj, and had been murdered by the said Agnes Sorgenson between the 21st and 25th September I last."
