COMMITTED FOR PERJURY.
(By Telegraph.) Auckland, Oct. 2. A. Bennett, accountant, was to-day committed for trial on a chargo of perjury, which it is alleged was committod m evidenco m the notorious Bolton caso. Bennett, who was formerly trusteo m bankruptcy, swore that a certain bill lodged as a claim m Bolton's estate was disallowed by him beoause it was not endorsed. Soveral witnesses testified that it was duly endorsed when lodged. Bail was allowed m a bond of £100, and tho defence was reserved.
