DISTRICT COURT.
REMOVING A TRUSTEE. (By Teleohaph.) New Plymouth, Sept. 30. In the District Court this morning a motion was made for tho removal of William Humphries, a bankrupt, from tho trusteeship of the estate of William Courtney, an arranging debtor. Mr Samuels appeared for Mr Simpson, ono of tho trustees. The, other trustee 19 dead. The court granted the application, and ap* pointed Mr F. F. P. Corkill m the place of William Humphries, but allowed the latfer a guinea for legal costs. Mr Humphries applied for commission on the amount reccivotf m the estate, but tho court refused lo grant the application, holding that it would be a bad precedent that trusteea should receive commission where they had to be removed, and had not cotnpleted^their trust.
