The third day's racing of the Spring meeting was good- For the Sr/BDBBAN HANDICAP 22 horses started. The raco resulted as follows : — Falcon ... 1 Uppercut ... 2 Gerald 3 During the raco five horses fell, and two jockeys (Kelsoand Davie?) were injured. The Cbavbn Plate was won easily. Trident 1 Acmo 2 King Fish ... 3 Time— 2min lOJsec. SECOND POAL STAKES. Volcano 1 Tamarisk 2 Blairgowrio ... ... •.. ... 3 Won by half a length, Time— 2min 13 Jsecs. My Lord was the only other starter. (Received 2 a.m., Sept. 21th.) The horses which fell m tho Suburban Handicap to-day were Merry, Duchess, Recruit, Rebus, Woolar and Reichardt. The injuries sustained by tho jockeys Kelso and Davies aro not of a Berious nature.
