«. THE HON. A. Db B. BRAHDON. (By Telegraph.) Wellington, Sept. 23, The Hon. A. De B. Brandon, M.X.0., died yesterday afternoon, aged 76. Tho deceased gentleman had beon Buffering for ■ome time past from enlargement of the liver. Mr Brandon armed m Wellington m 1840, coming out m connection with the New Zealand Colonising Company. Ho occupied the position of provincial solioitor doririg Pr ITeatherstone's superintendenoy m 1856, and ■waa elected to represent tha Wellington country district, and held this soat till 1881, and m 1883 was called to the Legi»lutivo Assembly. Tho deceased was president of the Wellington Club and the Wellington Law Socioty,
