The Plumpton Handicap, of 60 soys, one and a quarter miles, was a splendid race ; won by a length, s neck between second and third. Mr H. Lunn'fl Kingask, 7st 121 b 1 Mr G. G. Stead's Marion, 9st 21b ... 2 Mr Higgott's Patrician, 7st 71b 3 Three others ran. Time— 2min lfl 3-sth sec. Two-year-old Flcttbb, of 60 soys ; 4 furlongs. Mr P. Butler's eh c Northcote, by Bundoora—Miss Syken, Bst 51b 1 Hon. W. Reeves' Kimberley, by Apremont —Martyr, Bst Bib 2 Mr E. Cult's Lorraine, by Apromont — Maria Theresa, Bst 51b 3 Won by a. length. Time— 67seo. Mr Sleightholme's Mammoo won the Handicap Hurdles, of 50 soys, beating five others.
