♦ [Br Telegraph.] DuNßDnr, Sept. 1. The Union Steamship Company have decided to fo thwitli put the Mararoa m the intercolonial trade to resumo the weekly connect ion with Sydney and Auckland. The whole of the Melbourne steamers, instead of each alternate one as now, will proceed through to Sydney. Pending the Mararoa's return the Hauroto will be employed m the Auckland, Sydney and Melbourno trade, taking up the running on September Bth. Her place m the Sydney trade, Cook Strait route, will bo taken by tho Tekapo leaving Dunedin on the sixteenth inst.
