RAILWAY EXCURSION.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE TOIXRV HERALD. Sib, — I Bee by your issue of tho 17th that tho railway authorities intend to run a cheap excursion train from Timaru on the. 24th instant. Now, as there are volunteer corps going from Geraldine and Temuka, I am sure a great many o£ their friends o,nd others would bo glad to avail themselves of the opportunity of seeing the roviow at Oomaru, but they cannot do bo unless they go to Timaru. Do you not think the railway authorities could arrange to run a small train from the Orari or Winchester to catch the train ot Tiinarn, either on Saturday or Monday, so that it wonld give us all a chanco !»f seeing what is to be seen ? Hoping to hear of something being dono m the matter by that time, and thanking you for kindly inserting the abovo, J am, #6., Osa Interested, : Geraldino, April 19th.
