TO THE EDITOR OP THE TIMARU HBRAI.D, Sm, — " Do you know," that there is to bo a meeting of tho Timaru Hnrbour Board nest Wednesday. I do hope the members will go into committee when the report on tho dredge comes on for discussion. It will never do to let the ratepayers know the cost of repairs — time lost, coals consumed, and general smash-ups; and I do sincerely trust that the T.H.B. will not doprivo tho 0.H.8. of their valuable asset m tho shape of a half share m tho dredgo, valued at £8000. It has got them into trouble, and now they want to get us into the mess. I await result of Wednesday's conclave. I am, &'c, One Interested nr the Pobt.
