The Zaunceston Examiner gives some interesting figures regarding tho Mount Bischoff tin mine. Tho company has just declared tho hundredth dividend of lUs. per share, making an aggregate sum of £618,000 which lias been thus divided sinco the establishment of the company. It has expended m working account a sum of over £615,000 the plant has Co3t over £77,000, and tho totnl amount paid for dividend tax is £19,125. Since the formation of tho company 23,768 tons of tin ore have been raised. About 4'JO men are constantly employed on tho mine, at an average pay of £1,800 fortnightly, 'l'he smelting works employ 27 men m full work, and when the three furnaces are going their pay amounts to £160 fortnightly.
