RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

-♦ GERALDINE— Monday, March 29tit. (Before J. C. S. Bnddelcy, Esq., R.M., and Captain Temple, J.P.) ■UNREGISTERED DOO3. P. O'Raw was charged with having on unregistered dog m his possession. Tho defondant was fined 10a and costs. John Sugruo and Patrick Burko were charged with a similar offence, and were fined 10s each and costs. civil, cjses. Pierpoint v. Green— Claim £6 16s 7d. Mr J. W. White for plaintiff. Thero was no appearance of defendant, and judgment was given for amount claimed, with lls costs, and solicitor's fee £1 Is. McDonald v. Mulvelhill. This wasaclaim for damages caused by defendant having chased and dogged his cat at various dates between the Ist of January, 1883, and Ist March, 1886. Mr J. W. White appeared for plaintiff, and Dr Foster for defendant. Dr Foster objected to the bill of particulars on the ground that tho date of tho alleged trespass had not been set out, and that the damage which the plaintiff sustained had not been made clear. The defendant coljed no witnesses m support of his claim. After a short argumont between the Bench and counsel, the case wdb adjourned for a fortnight to enable plaintiff to furnish the dates of the trespass. Costs for adjournment were allowed. The Court then adjourned.
