Stavoloy, for the New Zealand Loan and Mercaniilo Asjoncy Company, Limited, reports as follows :— At the Ashbnrton Yards to-day about 3SOO sheop, chiefly stores, and fair entries of cattle and pigs were penned. Sheep. — Somewhat bettor ; improved valne3 and demand for crossbred lambs ; tat crossbred wether 3 8s Id, mixed 7s Id, fat merino owos 3s, crossbred lamb-i 2s Bil to 3s 4d and 4s 7d, sound mouth merino ewes 2a, cull do 8d to 10d, half-bred down ewos 43 2d, fnll month crossbred ewes 2s Bd, 2-tootu crossbreds, low condition 3s 7d. No doinand for pigs, weaners 3s Gd. Cattlo. — Quiet, values unaltered. Fa' cows £5 to .£5 17a 6d, equal to 17s 6d por hundred, forward bullocka it Gs, medium dairy cows J&\, twenty month Bteer3 JJ2 10s, yearlings XI sb.
