Auckland, March 23. Arrived — Wild Wave, from Newcuitlo. Tarawera, from Sydney, this evening at 5.3 i. Sho left at 8 p.m. on the 18th. Passengors— Misses Haigh, Ponders, Kelly, Marr, Lush, West and nurae, Megdamoj Kobertson, Hasselxig, Abbott and Vaushan, Mr and Mrs S&onach,Mr and Mrs Wells, Mr Matthorne, Mr and Mrs Honker, Messia Jones, Whitaon, Henchcliffe, Jordan, Waddington, Sims, Amo=i (2), Dudley, Nicholson, Ferry, Suiter, Talhot Stokes and Lough. Tho morning aftor tho Tarawera left Sydney a soaman, F. Andrew.?, full overboard. On tho alarm of " man overboard," tho chief officer being then on watch, tho engineer ac onco stopped and ravorsad tho engines. A life-bnoy was thrown overboard and a rmartarmaater sent aloft to wntoh the spot. Tho captain lowered a boat, which picked Androws up insensible, nino minutes from his first immersion. Eight minntes latar the steamer was going full speed on her course. Andrews has quito recovered.
